4th Annual Party-4-Preschool
The Annual Party-4-Preschool is a free event where community members come together to eat local food, drink local beer and wine, and exchange their ideas about how we, as a community, can support preschools by raising funds to make it possible for children from financially disadvantaged homes to attend preschool.
You may already know them, but in case you don't or just as a reminder: These are the facts about preschool:
Children from economically challenged families, where the price of a quality preschool is prohibitive, that attend preschool are more likely to:
Graduate from high school,
attend college,
get a good paying job that affords them the ability to buy their own car and home.
These children are less likely to:
Get expelled from or drop out of high school,
Need social assistance, or
Get arrested and become part of the criminal justice system.
You can help make a difference in the lives of these children.
